Sign Up, Sign In, And Access
How access works in InSite, including sign in, demo access, tenant selection, roles, and no-access states.
Access Model
InSite is not presented as instant public self-service. Public visitors request a qualified demo. Product users sign in through the application host and are placed into a tenant context. A tenant represents the organization or workspace that owns assets, missions, settings, members, and reports.
How To Sign In
- 1Open the InSite sign-in page.
- 2Enter the email address associated with your tenant membership.
- 3Complete the authentication step configured for your account.
- 4If your account belongs to more than one tenant, select the tenant you want to work in.
- 5After sign in, confirm the top bar shows the expected tenant before creating or editing records.
Tenant Selection
Tenant selection matters because assets, missions, findings, reports, branding, and settings are tenant-scoped. If the account has multiple tenants or platform-admin access, the top bar exposes a tenant switcher. Changing tenants reloads the app at the home dashboard for the selected organization.
Roles And Permissions
Roles control whether a user can upload source data, delete source data, manage tenant settings, trigger processing, administer users, or review reports. The documentation should stay aligned with the role matrix in the app settings because permissions are part of the operating contract.
- Admins manage tenant settings, members, branding, upload policies, and taxonomy.
- Operators create assets and missions and upload evidence where their role allows it.
- Reviewers inspect evidence, create findings, and prepare report content.
- Read-only users can consume mission context and reports without changing source records.
No Access Or Wrong Tenant
If a user sees a no-access state, the most common reasons are missing tenant membership, inactive tenant status, missing role permissions, or an account that has not accepted an invitation. The user should confirm the signed-in email, selected tenant, and invitation state with an administrator.
