How to use the InSite home dashboard for portfolio visibility, workflow health, storage, activity, and mission launch.

Purpose

The home dashboard is the operational starting point. It is designed for quick answers: which missions need attention, which workflows are active, how much evidence is stored, and where recent activity happened.

Dashboard Sections

KPI grid
Shows high-level counts and health indicators for assets, missions, findings, uploads, and workflow state.
Attention queue
Surfaces missions or workflow records that need reviewer or operator action.
Workflow health
Summarizes whether workflow queues, processing, and outputs are in healthy, warning, or blocked states.
Recent activity
Shows recent upload, processing, pairing, finding, and report events.
Storage
Gives visibility into uploaded source data, derived variants, and pending bytes.
Sites map
Provides geographic portfolio context where asset locations are available.

Best Practice

Use the dashboard as a triage view, not as a replacement for workflow review. If a mission shows attention, open the mission overview and then the specific workflow. The overview explains what is missing or blocked, while the workflow workspace gives the tools to fix it.
